Jay Ritter opened Squeaky Clean Car Wash in 1993 to accommodate the Santa Fe driving community. Over the years Jay added many services to the Squeaky Clean menu, including detailing and most recently ceramic coating. After years at one location only, Jay realized that he needed to add a the south side location to fully serve Santa Feans. The southside location adds greater convenience to our community and offers the complete menu of services. During the pandemic the southside location has remained open throughout while the northside is open by appointment.
Jay Ritter has always honored the community of Santa Fe by providing free washes for our town’s service workers, police and fireman. He also discounts washes for senior citizens. Jay serves the community’s not for profits through donations. One of his favorite causes is The Horse Shelter where he sat on the board for many years, helping to organize fundraisers. He urges everyone to attend Gimme Shelter, the popular free July event featuring trainers displaying the talents of Horse Shelter horses after only 90 days of training. All horses are available for adoption. Gimme Shelter 2021 will be held on Saturday, July 31st.
